A Miscellany from April 16, 2015

When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O LORD, held me up (Psalm 94:14).

I thought my foot was slipping. I thought there was no way forward. I thought for sure you were done with me. I believed Satan’s lie that you wouldn’t forgive me. “Surely he wouldn’t want me,” I thought. I’ve made such a mess of my life. And who can I blame? I brought this on myself.

But your arms were stretched out to me. You came and told me you weren’t finished with me. Thank you, Jesus. Amazing love. Amazing grace.
